Who it's for
Right buyer. You want a full-view linear fireplace built into a wall, with the flame filling the width, and you may want it on a covered patio: the Panorama is Amantii's indoor-outdoor line. Deep gives the biggest media bed, Slim fits a 2x6 wall, Xtra Tall gives the tallest flame.
Wrong buyer. You want a three-sided fire seen from the ends as well as the front; that is the Tru-View. You want the shallowest box for a 2x4 wall; that is the Panorama Xtra Slim or a Symmetry Xtra Slim.
Will it fit?
Dimensions from the specification sheet
Height, width and depth of the unit, from Amantii's specification sheets. The wall opening is the unit's width and height plus the clearance in the manual linked below; where Amantii publishes the framing opening it is in the second table. Glass, surround and weight are in the specifications.
| Model | Height | Width | Depth |
|---|---|---|---|
| BI-40-SLIM-OD | 23‑5/8" | 38‑5/8" | 6‑3/4" |
| BI-50-SLIM-OD | 23‑5/8" | 49‑5/8" | 6‑3/4" |

Clearances
An electric fireplace has no flue and no hot firebox; its clearances are about the heater outlet and the electrical box.
| Clearance | Minimum |
|---|---|
| In front of the heater outlet, to curtains, bedding, furniture | 36" |
| Combustible mantel or shelf above the heater outlet | per the installation manual for the model, linked below |
| Sides and back, to wood framing | 0"; the units are designed to be framed in wood |
| Floor | 0"; no hearth required |
Heat and power
120 V, 12.5 A, 1,500 W (750 low), 22 W heater off; 4,800 BTU; about 500 sq ft. The flames run without heat; the heater is fan-forced from the top of the unit, so nothing shows in front of the glass.

Installation
Built in, 6-3/4 in. deep, clean face to the glass or with the black steel surround; indoor and outdoor.
What arrives
- The fireplace with its glass, plus clear media, ICE media kit (large glass chunks, clear and blue diamond media), optional black steel surround, remote.
- Media kits, trims, liners and covers ship as their own cartons when you add them.
Before you order
- Plug-in models need an outlet on a circuit of their own; no extension cords. 240-volt models need an electrician.
- Built-ins: frame the opening from the specification sheet and confirm with us before you cut.
- Outdoors only where the sheet says indoor-outdoor, and only under cover.
- Special-order goods ship by freight.
How it performs
The Panorama is the built-in that disappears into the wall: finish the drywall or stone right up to the glass and the fire looks like it was always there. The flame is Amantii's Fire & Ice, an LED effect you can set to yellow, orange, blue, violet or rose, over a media bed you can dress with logs, glass or stones. Deep has the biggest bed, Slim fits a 2x6 wall, Xtra Slim fits a 2x4, and the XT gives an 18-inch-tall flame. Heat is 1,500 watts from the top, enough to warm the room you sit in.
Trade-offs to know
- An LED flame, not a screen; convincing from a few feet, decorative up close.
- Outdoor use means covered outdoor use; rain and direct sun are out.
- Media is a taste decision you make once; changing it later means buying a kit.
Living with it
Wipe the glass, brush the media once a season, keep the top vent clear. The remote and the app do the same things; the app adds timers. Outdoors, cover it when the season ends.

Questions people ask
Does it need a dedicated circuit?
Yes. The heater draws around 1,500 watts on 120 volts, most of a 15-amp circuit, so give the fireplace an outlet of its own and never an extension cord. Models with a 240-volt option are hardwired by an electrician.
How much does it heat?
The heater is supplemental: it warms the room you sit in, about 400 square feet on 120 volts, not the house. The flames run without heat on a few watts.
Can it go outdoors?
Only the models Amantii rates indoor-outdoor, and only under cover, protected from rain and direct sun; check the specification sheet linked below for your size.
Can I change the media later?
Yes. The log sets, glass and media kits are separate parts and drop into the media bed; the ones sold on this page are matched to the size.
What does the app do?
On WiFi models the Amantii app controls power, flame color, brightness and speed, the heater and timers from your phone; the remote in the box does the same from the sofa.
Can I return it?
Electric fireplaces are large, glass-fronted and shipped by freight. Confirm the size and the opening with us before you order, and contact us before returning anything.
Is it hard to install?
Wall mounts and freestanding units are a plug-in job. Built-ins need a framed opening from the specification sheet and an outlet or a circuit inside it; an insert needs the old fireplace retired and an outlet in the firebox.
What is the warranty?
Amantii's limited warranty is printed with the fireplace; we will confirm the term for your model before your order ships.
