The Englander Blue Ridge 500-I ESW0014 Wood Insert is a large, high-efficiency insert designed to turn an existing masonry fireplace into a powerful wood-burning heat source. Its single cast iron framed door and ceramic glass viewing area give you a clear view of the flames, while the included large faceplate helps create a clean, finished installation.

EPA 2020 approved and non-catalytic, the Blue Ridge 500-I is designed for dry cordwood and offers a heating area of 1,000 to 2,700 square feet. It features a 3.5 cu. ft. firebox, up to 110,000 BTU/h maximum heat output, up to 10 hours of burn time, refractory brick lining, a glass air-wash system, stainless-steel secondary-air system, and room for logs up to 22 inches. A 32" x 50" faceplate, air intake damper, and 144 CFM blower with thermodisc are included for a complete fireplace upgrade
