Real Fyre G45 Outdoor Stainless Steel Burner
The Real Fyre G45 Stainless Steel Burner is the outdoor version of Peterson's Triple-T burner: the same flame and ember bed as the indoor G45, in a stainless steel pan that shrugs off weather. This listing is the burner. Add any standard Real Fyre vented log set in the matching size. You choose the size and the way you want to light it.

Will it fit your fireplace?
Measure the inside of the firebox: width at the front, width at the back wall, depth and height. Every size needs 18 inches of height, one more than the indoor G45. If you are within an inch of a minimum, order the next size down.

Outdoors, the fireplace must still be a wood-burning fireplace with a working flue and an open damper. Indoors, the chimney must be at least 15 feet tall. The firebox floor cannot have an ash lip or a sunken hearth deeper than 3/4 inch, and a screen must be in place.
The burner
A Triple-T burner: one burner pipe under the logs and a second across the front, so the embers glow brighter and the flames have more depth. The pan is stainless steel. Sizes of 36 inch and larger include Peterson's heavy-duty grate. Peterson does not recommend running it below 32°F. The optional stainless steel grate replaces the standard grate where a plain steel one would corrode.

Choose your control
Match Light. There is no valve on the burner. You hold a long lighter at the burner and open the gas with your fireplace's wall or floor key, which also sets the flame height. Natural gas only, outdoors only.
Manual Safety Valve. You press the built-in igniter button and push the knob to light the burner. A thermocouple in the flame holds the valve open; if the fire goes out, the gas shuts off. No standing pilot and no batteries. Peterson notes the igniter can be reluctant in very damp weather, in which case you light the burner with a long lighter.
Electronic On/Off Remote. An electronic valve that sparks its own pilot when you press On, with a handheld remote. Runs on batteries that come in the box. Sizes to 36 inch.
What arrives
- One carton: stainless burner pan (with the valve assembled on the valve versions), grate with stabilizer clips, glowing embers, sand for the pan, gas connector kit and damper clamp. The remote version includes the handheld remote, receiver and batteries.
- Logs are a separate item. With a Charred set, its ember screen clips onto the back of the pan.
Before you order
- Not compatible with the Flame Enhancer Kit or the Flame Enhanced log sets.
- You need a natural gas line into the firebox, 1/2 inch inside diameter or larger, with a shut-off valve outside the firebox.
- The included clamp keeps the damper from closing. The damper must be fully open whenever the fire is on.
- Installation is by a qualified gas professional, and the burner should be inspected once a year.
- Do not burn wood in the fireplace once the burner is installed, and do not leave the fire on unattended.
- Sizes of 42 inch and larger are not agency-listed. Check your local code.

No. This is the burner alone.
Can I add the Flame Enhancer?
No. Peterson's kit is not compatible with the stainless steel G45.
